TW TIG finger

The TIG finger is a sleeve of woven, heat-resistant material that slides over a finger of your welding glove. TIG welders often feed the filler wire with their fingers, close to the hot weld pool. That is where it gets hot quickly. The TIG finger absorbs that heat, so you can keep working longer without having to pull your hand back.

The sleeve is thin enough to keep your feel when feeding the wire, and goes directly over your glove. You slide it onto your finger and immediately have extra protection exactly where it gets hot. It is a small, inexpensive part that makes an ordinary TIG glove a lot more comfortable, especially for long welds, aluminium and preheated material.

It is available in small and large. Choose the size that fits the finger of your glove: a sleeve that is too loose slips off, and one that is too tight gets in the way.
