TW Pyrex diffuser

TIGWARE mesh kits are replacement diffusers for when the diffuser in your cup is damaged or dirty. Each pack contains 2 pieces.

The mesh in a TIGWARE cup distributes the gas over three layers, the triple diffuser system. Spatter and heat can cause the mesh to deform or clog over time. With a new mesh kit your cup gets its original gas distribution back, without you having to replace the whole cup.

Mesh kits are available for cup sizes #12, #14, #16 and #20. The cup size is the opening in sixteenths of an inch. A #12 is about 19 mm, a #14 about 22 mm, a #16 about 25 mm, a #20 about 32 mm, a #24 about 38 mm and a #32 about 51 mm. The bigger the cup, the wider the weld pool you cover. A smaller cup gets into an inside corner more easily.
