TW Pyrex cups

TIGWARE Pyrex cups are delivered fully assembled and ready to use straight away. They are made of clear borosilicate glass (Pyrex) and designed with the welder in mind. You can see the arc and the weld pool, and your weld stays well protected thanks to the built-in triple diffuser system.

That system is what sets these cups apart from most competitors. An ordinary cup has one flow stage, a TIGWARE cup has three. The gas reaches the weld pool more evenly and more calmly, which gives a stable weld pool. The cups are suitable for direct current (DC).

They are especially pleasant for stainless steel, titanium and other precision work, where you want to see the weld clearly. TIGWARE Pyrex cups will not let you down on the shop floor. The cup size is the opening in sixteenths of an inch. A #12 is about 19 mm, a #14 about 22 mm, a #16 about 25 mm, a #20 about 32 mm, a #24 about 38 mm and a #32 about 51 mm. The bigger the cup, the wider the weld pool you cover. A smaller cup gets into an inside corner more easily.

Glass is still glass, so tighten the cup only hand-tight and let it cool down gently after welding. You can return anything within 14 days. Order on a working day before 15:00 and we ship your parcel the same day.
