PW TIG cups + gas diffuser

PerfectWelding ceramic TIG cups are high-quality cups with an internal gas diffuser, for a better controlled flow of shielding gas. With the same amount of gas you cover a larger welding area. That gives a better protected weld with less risk of corrosion on your material, and a bright weld is also easier to clean. The cups are white and are supplied with a gas diffuser.

You choose two things: the size of the cup and the diameter of your electrode.

• Size: #12, #14, #16 or #24. The size is the opening of the cup in sixteenths of an inch: #12 is about 19 mm, #14 about 22 mm, #16 about 25 mm and #24 about 38 mm. A larger cup covers a wider weld pool, a smaller one gets into an inside corner more easily.
• Electrode diameter: 1.6, 2.4 or 3.2 mm. The gas diffuser in the cup is matched to that diameter.

The cups fit WP9/20 torches as standard. If you have a WP17, WP18 or WP26 torch, you need a 17GL gas lens adapter as well, in the same diameter as your electrode. You will find it under the PW Gas lens adapter 17GL (WP17/18/26). Not every combination of size and diameter is always in stock. If your choice shows as sold out, send us a message.
