PW Titanium Pyrex cup #24

The PW Titanium Pyrex cup in size #24 is the largest in our range, intended for work where you need wide gas coverage. Titanium is sensitive to discolouration and contamination. The shielding gas has to protect not only the weld pool, but also the metal that is still hot afterwards. With an opening of about 38 mm, you cover a large area.

The cup is made of transparent Pyrex, so you keep sight of the arc, and it has an improved gas diffuser for a more even gas flow. It is made for titanium and stainless steel, and for other work where wide gas coverage matters, such as pipework and larger weld pools.

You choose the version for a WP9/20 or a WP17/18/26 torch, with a 2.4 mm electrode. Keep in mind that a large cup needs more room. In tight corners a smaller size is more practical. Tighten the cup only hand-tight.
