PW Pyrex cup+ #16

The PW Pyrex cup+ in size #16 is made for welding titanium and stainless steel. Because the cup is made of transparent Pyrex, you can see the arc and the weld pool while you weld. With materials where gas coverage is critical, you see straight away whether the weld stays well protected.

The cup contains an improved gas diffuser, so the gas flow is more even than with a standard cup. The #16 has an opening of about 25 mm, which makes it a versatile size: wide enough for good coverage on stainless steel and titanium, and still manageable on corners and edge welds.

You choose the cup for a WP9/20 or a WP17/18/26 torch. The cup is designed for a 2.4 mm electrode. Tighten it only hand-tight and let it cool down gently after welding, and a Pyrex cup will last a long time.
