PW Collets (10 pieces)

Collets for your TIG torch, in packs of 10 for €15. The collet clamps the tungsten electrode in the torch or the gas lens, so a worn or wrong collet gives you an electrode that works loose, sits crooked or produces an unstable arc.

A collet must match the diameter of your electrode and the type of gas lens you use exactly. So choose three things:

• Your torch: WP9/20 or WP17/18/26.
• Your electrode diameter: 1.6, 2.4 or 3.2 mm.
• Your gas lens version: threaded, or with a rubber ring (NQ), for glass cups without a thread.

Here is how to find your part number:

• WP17/18/26, threaded: 10N23S (1.6 mm), 10N24S (2.4 mm), 10N25S (3.2 mm)
• WP17/18/26, rubber ring (NQ): 4C116GS (1.6 mm), 4C332GS (2.4 mm), 4C418GS (3.2 mm)
• WP9/20, threaded: 13N22 (1.6 mm), 13N23 (2.4 mm), 13N24 (3.2 mm)
• WP9/20, rubber ring (NQ): 2C116GS (1.6 mm), 2C332GS (2.4 mm), 2C418GS (3.2 mm)

Note the material: the 13N collets are made of copper, the 2C collets (for the rubber ring version) are made of brass.
